Backup

Space2u Backup is a service to perform remote backups of data over the internet. With out Backup service you do not have to invest in your own backupsystem, maintenance and all manual labour.

Through the software you install a backup is performed on your computers that is then transfered over the internet to our backupsystem. The backup can be both compressed and encrypted before its sent to us.

The transfer can be done through FTP, FTP/SSL, SFTP, SSH. The possibility to download VPN software and certificates to setup a VPN to the server also exists. If setup it enables you to copy files to your homedirectory on the backupservice through the encrypted VPN as to an ordinary fileshare(SMB/CIFS). With the account information you get access to clientsoftware that you can install on the client computer/server. There is no requirement that this software is used but any backupsoftware capable of transfering the backups through one of the methods listed above can be used.
